The Caterpillar and the Blackbird

Having worked previously with Tom Dywer and TBAD on a number of  stage shows, Tom approached me with a concept for a family friendly performance - that combined children’s story telling with dance. Initially designing a logo for the Narradance project , I was later brought on to create video content and animated backdrops for the inaugural stage show that aired in Hastings in 2019 as part of the literary festival.

With a new project financier on board, the project was revived in 2023 with a larger, professional cast. I was asked to expand the number of animated backdrops to include new scenes and locations, and I delivered the show programme, promotional posters and social media banners. The show has been performed at numerous venues across the south east, including the Babbacombe Theatre, the Stag Sevenoaks and the De La Warr Pavilion.
